Cecily lives in Durham NC where she works in education. She's been in schools for over 14 years. Cecily also has a Masters in Library Science, and as you can imagine - when she is not planning trips she loves to read!
Her love of travel planning started after college when she started traveling more with her friends and decided that she wanted to make the most out these trips by researching & reading reviews about the places she visited.

With a keen eye for timing and details, Melissa spent most of her post-college career in the catering and events industries. From planning fancy weddings to large-scale corporate events to intimate dinners and picnics for two, she loves a good (well-planned) party! Her skills for scheduling and organization have made planning trips both incredibly fun and rewarding. Melissa resides in Roanoke, VA with her husband and two children.
Her favorite place to vacation is the beach…any beach… as long as it’s warm and sunny with an ocean breeze.

Tailor-Made Mini- $40
Tailor-made mini itineraries are designed as a 2-night, 3 day getaway. These itineraries are customized for your dates, travel style, eating preferences, local happenings and more! Minis can be customized to suit couples, friends, or families.
After purchasing your itinerary, you will receive a questionnaire via email that will gather all of the initial information we need to get started on your plans.
Tailor Made Mini's are currently offered for 30+ cities! If you need a new location, select
*New City* at check out for $5.00 more per itinerary.
Travel Like a Type A excels at bringing customization to travel planning to create the best experience for you and your travel companions. With incredible attention to detail and your specific trip needs, we will help you create a memorable, fun experience with a perfectly planned itinerary from morning until night. The custom planning process starts with a questionnaire to gather initial information on your trip, followed by and one-on-one Q&A time with our TLATA planners. This ensures that TLATA knows your group well to best create a plan that everyone will love and be talking about for years to come. Full custom itinerary pricing is based on the number of travel days, location,
and the timeline for the trip.

Do you love planning trips as much as we do? This option is for you! We can create a custom designed keepsake itinerary with all the amazing things that you have planned. After your purchase, you will receive a 'Thank You for Your Purchase' email & within that will be a form. Use this form to share all the details of your trip, then we will be in touch with your first draft!! Our one page sheet is great for 2-3 day trips, and for 4-5 day trips we do a brochure style itinerary.

How long does the process take with TLATA?
Customization and research is key for planning a great getaway! Typically, our turnaround time is 3-5 days for tailor-made mini and a little longer for customized plans depending on timelines & editing.
What is the traveler's role in the process?
Your responsiveness and thoroughness in answering our questionnaires will help us speed up the planning process and get your itinerary in a timely fashion. We appreciate any and all details you can provide about your travel style and preferences to help us best plan your trip!
Are you travel agents?
We are travel planners! We create an itinerary for you to make the most of your trip and give you a booking to do list. When you work with TLATA, you will have everything you need to book your lodging, make reservations, and purchase tickets, all while using your own rewards points, credit cards, etc!
